Flock lets your members subscribe with their card and unlock members-only areas of your forum. Payments go straight to your own Stripe account — you set the prices and keep every cent. One flat fee to us, never a percentage.
Members pay through your own Stripe account. Payouts land in your bank, refunds are yours to give, and we never touch — or take a cut of — your money. Patreon keeps 5–12% forever; Flock is one flat fee.
Each plan maps to a Flarum group. Point tag permissions at it with the permission screen you already know — members-only tags, early access, a supporters lounge. Works with every permission extension you run.
Payments and access run between your forum and Stripe directly. Our service helps you set things up — if it disappeared for a week, your members would never notice. That is by design.
One composer command on your forum, enable it from your admin panel.
Paste your Flock key and a restricted Stripe key. Webhooks configure themselves.
Name a plan, set a monthly or yearly price, and point tag permissions at its group.
A Join page on your forum takes their card through Stripe Checkout. Access is instant, renewals are automatic.
Whether your members bring in $100 a year or $100,000 — the price is the price. Your success is none of our business, financially speaking.
Flock turns your Flarum forum into a membership business. Your members subscribe with their card and automatically unlock members-only areas of your forum. You set the prices, the money goes to your own Stripe account, and we charge one flat yearly fee — never a percentage.
You do. Members pay through your own Stripe account — their cards are charged by you, payouts land in your bank, refunds are yours to give. Flock never sits between you and your revenue, and we never take a percentage of it. Compare that with Patreon or Ko-fi, which keep 5–12% of everything, forever.
Each membership plan maps to a Flarum group, and you point tag permissions at that group using Flarum’s own permission screen — the same one you already know. Members-only tags, early-access categories, a supporters lounge: anything Flarum permissions can express, a plan can unlock. It composes with every permission extension you already run.
A member who cancels keeps access until the period they paid for ends. A failed renewal gets a grace window (a week by default, yours to configure) while Stripe retries the card; only then does the group access end. Nobody’s posts or account are ever touched — membership only ever controls group access.
Nothing. Member payments and access run between your forum and your Stripe account directly — our service is only involved when you set things up. If we vanished for a week, your members would never notice.
