About Us

Who We Are

Link Robins LLC is an independent, veteran-owned company built around one community: Flarum. We run managed Flarum hosting, free uptime monitoring with public status pages, and the Flarum community rankings โ€” everything a forum needs to launch, stay online, and grow, in one place.

Why We Exist

Most hosts treat a forum like any other PHP app. We don't. Flarum has its own performance profile, its own extension ecosystem, and its own failure modes โ€” and running it well takes infrastructure tuned specifically for it. Link Robins was founded in 2025 to give Flarum communities a home where the hosting, the monitoring, and the tooling are all built for the platform they actually run.

What We Offer

  • Managed Flarum hosting โ€” fully managed forums with updates, backups, and tuning handled for you. See plans and pricing.
  • Free uptime monitoring โ€” monitor any site or endpoint, get alerted when it goes down, and share a public status page with your community.
  • Flarum rankings โ€” a public directory and ranking of Flarum communities across the web, with insights nobody else gives Flarum forums.
  • Custom sites โ€” design and hosting for projects that need more than a forum.

How We Operate

We hold ourselves to the same standards we sell:

  • Transparency โ€” our own infrastructure uptime is publicly monitored at linkrobins.com/status/uptime, using the same monitoring tools we offer you.
  • Accountability โ€” we target 99.9% uptime, and if your hosted forum falls below our SLA threshold we apply a service credit automatically. No ticket, no evidence, no asking.
  • Privacy โ€” we use only essential cookies, run no advertising or tracking cookies, and never sell data to third parties.

The Person Behind It

Link Robins is solo-operated by Karl Bullock โ€” a Korean American, disabled United States Marine Corps veteran based in Warner Robins, Georgia. After his service, Karl spent years in depot-level military aircraft repair as an avionics technician and pneudraulics mechanic, and today works as a field engineer at Lockheed Martin. That background carries over: in aviation, reliability isn't a feature โ€” it's the whole job.

Karl is also part of the Flarum project itself, contributing as a team member, moderator, and extension developer. The platform your forum runs on is one he helps build โ€” and when you email support, you're talking directly to the person who runs the infrastructure.
