Analytics for Flarum

Analytics that live in your forum — not ours.

Server-side analytics for your Flarum forum: visitors, search terms, forum health. Zero JavaScript, no cookies, and every rollup stored in your forum's own database. We do the math and keep nothing.

Built for forums, not brochures.

The numbers a community actually lives by — not another generic pageview counter.

Forum health, built in

New-member activation, discussions read but never answered, top tags, live search terms — the metrics no generic analytics tool can see, next to your visitors and pageviews.

Your database, your data

Every rollup is stored in your forum's own database. Cancel and every stat you've collected stays exactly where it always was — nothing to export, nothing lost.

Nothing that tracks

No cookies, no JavaScript, no fingerprinting. Visitors are counted server-side with a salted hash that resets daily — there's nothing following your members around.

Zero weight

No script tag, no pixel. Capture is a single row written after the response has already gone out — your pages don't get slower and your visitors download nothing.

Counting in minutes. Insights by morning.

One extension, one key, one field — no script tags, no DNS, no config files.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about Birdseye analytics for Flarum.

What is Birdseye?
Birdseye is analytics built only for Flarum. A free open-source extension counts your traffic server-side and renders dashboards right in your admin panel — visitors, pageviews, search terms, countries, and forum-health metrics like new-member activation and discussions that get read but never answered.
Where do my stats live?
In your forum's own database — every rollup, forever. We keep no copy of your analytics, so there's nothing to export and nothing held hostage. Cancel and every stat you've collected stays exactly where it always was.
What leaves my server?
Once a day, your forum sends that day's anonymous event batch to our processor. We do the math in memory — sessions, bounce rates, countries, uniques — hand the results straight back, and retain nothing. Without a license key the extension never phones out at all.
Do my visitors get cookies or JavaScript?
Neither. Capture happens server-side — no script tag, no pixel, no cookies. Visitors are counted with a salted hash that resets every day, so there's no cross-day identity and nothing following your members around.
What does the extension do without a key?
The extension is free and open source, and without a key it still counts daily visitors and pageviews entirely locally. Your key unlocks the processed metrics — sessions, bounce rate, visit duration, countries, sources, devices — plus the world map.
Can my members see the stats?
If you want them to. Birdseye ships a permission — grant it to any group and they get an Analytics view right in the forum, without touching the admin panel. Nothing is visible to anyone until you grant it.
Which Flarum versions are supported?
Birdseye supports Flarum 2.0.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — every subscription starts with a 14-day free trial, and your key works from the moment checkout completes. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing; the stats already collected stay in your forum's database either way.
Why is it only $10 a year?
Because your database does the storage, our side stays small — you're paying for the math, not a warehouse of your data. Flat yearly pricing, one key per forum, cancel anytime.
