What is a managed MCP?

We run an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server pointed at your Flarum forum, so your AI — Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client — can read and manage it: discussions, posts, users, tags, settings and more. You connect with one command; we host the server.

Does my forum have to be hosted by you?

No. This is for forums we don’t host. Point us at any Flarum forum on the public internet with an API key, and we run the managed MCP for it. (If we already host your forum, MCP is included free — you don’t need this.)

Do I bring my own AI keys?

Yes — your AI client (Claude, Cursor…) uses your own AI account and keys. We host only the connection between your AI and your forum, so there are no AI usage charges from us.

Is my forum’s API key safe?

Your Flarum API key is stored encrypted and used only by your own MCP server. The endpoint is gated by a private bearer token, and you can run it read-only (the default) or allow writes — your choice, switchable any time.

Is there a free trial?

Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. Cancel any time from your dashboard — your endpoint simply stops.

How do I connect it to my AI?

Once it’s live, your dashboard shows a ready-to-paste command — e.g. `claude mcp add --transport http forum …` — with your endpoint and token. Paste it into your AI client and you’re connected.
