A few changes to status pages are now live.
Uptime figures are more accurate. The headline uptime figure could read 100% even when a page showed days with downtime, because it was rounded up. Figures now round down, so any downtime at all shows as less than 100%. A monitor's uptime is also now measured from when it was created, rather than over a full 90 days that included the time before it existed. If your page shows a lower number than before, that is the reason: nothing new went down, the figure is just honest now. The colored day bars were already accurate and have not changed.
Incident updates are in plain language. When a check failed with a long error, the incident timeline could show the raw error text, sometimes including part of the other site's error page. It now shows a short description instead, such as "server error (500 Internal Server Error)".
Status pages work better on phones. A monitor with a long address could push the page wider than the screen. Long text now wraps, on the public page and in the monitor list and status page editor on your dashboard.
